Alumni Remember VT Hope you're not expecting one of those cryptic, nonsensical descriptions. Not my style. Anyway, on with the voyeurism...

If you hate the design of this site, I'm the person to flame. If you love it, feel free to send me undying praise. Even though I've gotten a couple of engineering degrees, for some reason I now fancy myself some sort of designer. I managed to teach myself HTML & Photoshop and I adore Illustrator which is what we use to design most of the products on this site. I'm sure this description makes me out to be purely a Windows or Mac girl, but if I spent the time to learn the Gimp and one of the few *nix illustration programs out there, I'd finally be able to use Linux on a day-to-day basis. Believe me, I'm all for open source - I just know Adobe's products so well, it would take me forever and a day to relearn something else.

Anyhoo, I'm also a font whore and a bit of a technology addict. Wille tells me I'm constantly "aspiring" because I always want to upgrade - my computer, my cell phone, my PDA, and just about anything else that can be improved by adding cool new technology. A few years back I retired my good old Saturn SL2 and found out that it blew up in an accident in November 2002. You'll be missed old friend! Although I was hankerin for a PT Cruiser for a long time, I decided on a new ride - the fine and funky Hyundai Santa Fe!

Don't get me wrong though, I cherish my time away from the computer. A few years ago I developed some pretty heinous symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. My cool keyboard platform has helped quite a bit. When the mood strikes and I have the time, I enjoy a little yoga from time to time. I can't say enough good stuff about yoga. Try it. Really. But by no means am I even remotely an expert -- I haven't taken a class in months and I'm still a beginner, but I still love it. Of course now that it's so trendy, I'll probably quit doing it.

When I have huge amounts of free time, which is basically never, I play a little Quake III. I'm particularly fond of the Freeze Tag mod, but probably because that's the only one I've ever played! :) I'm not in a clan, but I used to play with folks from GL although that clan is long disbanded, and OtH, both clans are a bunch of super cool people, plus there's a few clan-less folks out there that I love to play with too. Btw, if you're ever playing freeze, look for me, I'm RailMe. ;)

OMG, Quake III is soooo 2002! Seriously though, if I had time, I'd still play Quake Freeze, yes even now with Doom 3 finally out. I'm just lazy like that sometimes. I want the newest coolest little gadget, but I'll play the same damn game for 5 years. But as goofy as it is, I'm totally digging Dance Dance Revolution. But only the home version -- there's no way I'd be caught dead in an arcade flopping around like a fool for the world to see.
