Left 4 Dead 2 Released That's right folks, the release of Left 4 Dead 2 is upon us! The highly anticipated, though somewhat controversial follow-up to last year's mega-hit was released just over an hour late due to an unforseen crash bug that was addressed before release.
If you've pre-loaded your game, you should be able to decrypt your files now after you restart your Steam client, otherwise you'll have to download the entire game. Expect delays over the first 24 hours due to the influx of users on the Steam servers.
Dragon Age Armors It's time for a new armor wardrobe starting with these shiny armor mods for Dragon Age: Origins.
Visage Interview We have a few words with the developers behind Visage, an upcoming horror survival mod.
Orion Review Do you miss the good old days of straight shooters and good old fashioned gameplay like Quake and Unreal? Well, after roughly a decade in the works, Orion brings you just that. Experience this ambitious FPS and bring back the classics!
Steam and Valve's library of games including Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series will be available in April.
Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike and Half-Life) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced Portal 2 for shipment this coming holiday season.
Portal 2 is the sequel to 2007's Portal, which won 70 industry achievement awards.
According to the official Valve Developer Community's Time Conversion Chart this should put the release date sometime next Fall, or possibly coincident with the Rapture.
Furthermore, Valve is apparently not done setting puzzles before their fans, as the announcement contained a series of underlined letters which spell out, in order, "drattmannh0nee". As usual, enterprising minds on the Steampowered Forums discovered that this was part of the ongoing Alternate Reality Game that Valve started with the previous Portal update.

Portal Updated with Cryptic Codes[ 9 Comments ] 22:32 PST | ACPaco | Print News | Category: Portal - Content UpdatesOver two years after its initial release, Portal has received a mysterious update via Steam. Curious players have discovered that now the radios found littered throughout the Aperture Science test labs, if carried to certain locations, will broadcast a series of at least twenty-six different codes - possible hints about Portal 2, or even Half-Life 2: Episode Three, or just another little homage to Lost?
So far, Steam forum members have deciphered just some of the odd messages encoded in the new radio broadcasts. Some of them are basic system messages (assumed to be related to G.L.A.D.O.S.), such as "Interior transmission active" and "System data dump active". Another is the classic font example phrase, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", written out in checksum format (a computer code used to verify data). Some of the broadcasts can even be translated into slightly corrupted image files, which you can view here. Yet another broadcast translates as "BEEP BEEEP BEEP BEEP", which, if translated through Morse Code, will give you "LOL". Oh, those comedians at Valve!
You can follow along or even join in with the deciphering at the Steam forums here. We're really interested to see where this is going!
For the rest of the images, go here. Stargate: Legacy plans on having their monthly updates from this point on introduce each one of their developers and their roles and have them talk a bit about what they have done for the mod.
