Last week I was surprised when I saw an announcement of a level based on The Thing movie, created in 1982 by John Carpenter, a famous horror movie director. The whole movie happens on an american antarctic research station, where a helicopter crashes right before the science team. They adopt the dog that was running away from the helicopter, and soon the dog transforms into something... disgusting. Then the crew starts dying or even worse, they transform into a violent creature. But enough about the movie, we are here to feature KDavis level and assets based on the movie.

What's planned for Ninja Mod v3? Mod developer Thial has listed a few features that will be available in NM3 [assumingly] in addition to abilities found in the previous two Ninja Mod's.
Wall running/climbing (parkour stuff, roll, etc).
Some jumping boost.
Fighting skills (Assasin mode and also some new techniques like ki blasts (dragon ball anime).
Secret achievements (e.g. for causing more than 1000 damage, etc).
Leveling system (you can unlock new abilities).
Statistics system (2 points per level). Strength, Agility, Vitality, etc.
The Setting:
The story itself is set in the year 2063, and is based around a substance called Xicclat, which attacks a plant's chlorophyll. After the surface of Earth gets entirely infected and the foliage dies out, life becomes a chaos on the planet. Two of the main factions start a power struggle, whilst the third one (The Rebels) strives for freedom and equality amongst the surviving people. And to make matters worse, other, hostile creatures start appearing.
The player is a soldier of the Elite Omicron Project, namely subject 7. After his memory erasing device gets damaged, he starts to realize things that happen around him, thus making him gain self control. His first goal is a face change so that he can blend in with the rest of the humanity as someone totally unknown. The face change will allow the player to walk into various places, including the areas of the Elysium Government, Earth Rise Artificials and the United Rebels. The main story will focus on two things: the past of the player and the restoration of foliage on Earth.
While the main story will be in place, the player will still be able to pick how he wants to solve things. His decisions will affect his reputation towards the three main factions, and the progression of the whole storyline as well.
PC Play: How well does CryEngine® 3 use the advantage of dual-core and quad-core PC CPUs? From a gamer's standpoint, if I own an Intel Core2Quad, will I have to upgrade to i7 in order to flawlessly run upcoming CryEngine 3-powered titles?
Carl Jones: CryENGINE® 3 has been built to take full advantage of multi-core systems, past, present and future. You will get great performance in CryENGINE® 3 on your dual-core and quad-core CPUs, but of course, if you upgrade, you’ll see the performance increase further. In the development of CryENGINE® 3 we have been working really hard on solutions that enable phenomenal looking games on both the low and high end - so you won’t need to upgrade by any means to get great results from CryENGINE® 3 games.
