It's a new month and here's a new Poll

Question:
Which WWII FPS series did you play first?

Choices:
Option 01: Wolfenstein
Option 02: Medal of Honor
Option 03: Battlefield
Option 04: Call of Duty
Option 05: Other?

I'm old school, so Wolfenstein was the first WW2 shooter I played, but Medal of Honor made me love WW2 shooters. And that goes a long way!

Well, first WWII game I ever played was Medal of Honor on PS1, then Underground, then AA then FL, then Battlefield, and its exp. packs, then RS, then COD came out, MOH died, then PA came out, I was hooked on that for quite awhile, then Brothers in Arms came out and killed MOH off and shoved COD to the back row, and has since been "The Highest Rated WWII Action Franchise of All Time" from GameRatings.com, and BIA still has yet to be outclassed by another series.

Kind of a trick question there, technically I played Wolfenstein3D which was out years before MoH was released but if your referring to Return to Castle Wolfenstein, then I obviously played MoH first.

I first played Wolf3D when I was young.

I first got really into WWII games when I played Return to Castle Wolfenstien, then I played Medal of Honor Allied Assault and its expansion packs soon after..then on to Battlefield, COD, ect ect ect

I didnt own a playtation till a few years ago when I bought a PS2, so I actually didn't play and beat the origional Medal of Honor and Underground till last year. haha

So I would say the first true WWII FPS I played was Return to Castle Wolfenstien.

I wonder who is gonna win this month????? come on, this poll neither advances nor detracts from the site. i know a poll choice is hard to find, but asking planetmedalofhonor what your favorite title is, is like asking a yankee fan who is the best team in the world, i wonder who????? where is the news, im getting aggravated it has been almost two years since airborne, but i guess that is what ea has done to us with past medal of honors, we expect them one after another. all i am saying is that E3 has passed, and no word, so we might honestly see the next one two years from now? wheres the beef?

Well ever since Airborne failed, most of the MOH fans have left to bigger and better things, plus with the bad economy, its probably hard as hell to get a game started quickly and announce it like MOH is known for, or, maybe, EA is actually taking their time on it, and is actually going to try to make a QUALITY MOH, which would be a long time coming since we havent seen a good quality MOH since PA. Everything since 2004 has just been cartoony comic book rip-offs where everything is fake and overly-dramatized and nothing like the realistic and immersive quality MOH was known for many moons ago.
