Blooming Young Artist Contest --
Attention young artists between the ages of 5 and 18: Enter the Star-Telegram “Spring Scenes of Fort Worth” Art Contest. Simply follow the rules (in this PDF), prepare your artwork and mail it along with an Official Entry Form so that it is received by Friday, April 2, 2010 for judging.

Star-Telegram Evening With An Author Series
The Star-Telegram with the Katrine Deakins and Helen Littauer Trusts at USTRUST and The University of Texas at Arlington present the country's most noted authors throughout the year in a program hosted by Jeff Guinn, New York Times best-selling author of the a 3- book series known as the "Santa Chronicles". These programs are free to attend, take place in the evening and include a live on-stage interview with the author, a question and answer session between author and audience, and a chance to meet the author in person and have your book autographed.

To request two tickets in advance of the first notice in the Star-Telegram, send a self-addressed and stamped envelope to Star-Telegram Author Series, PO Box 1870, Fort Worth, Texas 76101. Send a separate envelope for each author, but you may include more author envelope in one single letter of request.
